Torrential Rain Hits Refugee Camps in the Bekaa Valley

A storm of cold, torrential rain has hit the refugee camps in the Bekaa valley bringing with it danger, fear and chaos, and making difficult conditions even worse for  children that live there.

Jackit were planing our second Activity Day this Sunday but that has had to be cancelled due to flooding. However, we will still be there to distribute rain boots and other essential clothing to the children.

If you haven’t already donated we ask you to visit donate.jackit.org and give as much as you feel you can afford. There are over 23,000 children in this one camp alone, and we desperately want to try to make their lives a little easier.

Thank you in advance and thank you to everyone that has already donated money, clothing and time to help.
